Ashton win AshLee Trophy
Tuesday 7th August 2018
On Sunday 5th August, Ashton welcomed Members of Lee Park Golf Club to compete in the annual AshLee Trophy event. The format was a fourball matchplay competition with Ashton seizing the trophy from holders Lee Park by 5 games to 1. Lee Park Captain John Beck presented the trophy to Ashton Captain Ken Hackett.
Ashton Juniors take Gross Team Prize in Junior Victory Trophy
Saturday 28th July 2018
Ashton-in-Makerfield Juniors were worthy winners of the Team Gross Prize and Jack Case Cup at the Junior Victory Trophy hels at Gathurst Golf Club on Friday 27th July. With four cards to count their score was 639 over 36 holes. Many congratulations guys! Tom Ratcliffe also came runner up in the Individual 36 hole Gross Comp with 143 off 3.
Garry Qualifies for Seniors Open

Many congratulations to Club Manager Garry Lacy who on Monday secured one of seven places at Scotscraig with a 1 under 70 to qualify for the Seniors Open at the home of golf St Andrews on 26-29 July. Excellent play Garry and all the best for St Andrews!
