Our Catering Manager Greg Devine has worked in the hotel and catering environment for over 35 years. He has previously worked at Deanwood, Blackburn and Fishwick Hall golf clubs, as well as being an NVQ assessor in hospitality management.
Greg, who hails from Blackburn, has been at Ashton-in-Makerfield Golf Club since 2010 and made an impact right from the start by introducing Al a carte evenings, Gourmet evenings and a regular Sunday Carvery. Greg's latest venture - 'Fish Friday' attracted over 100 diners at the last event so book early if you plan to attend the next!
With vegetables and meat being delivered fresh every day, members can enjoy a wide selection of meals either before or after their golf, whilst Societies have the option of several 'packages' on offer or a fully customised arrangement to suit their particular needs.
Greg and his staff - the 'Devine Intervention' team, are keen for members and visitors to enjoy their experience at Ashton-in-Makerfield and are always willing to accommodate catering requests outside normal opening hours if at all possible (pre-booking essential).

Last food orders by 17.00 Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and 20.00 on Thursdays
Saturday - food available 09.00 until 17.00
Sunday - food available 11.00 until 16.00
