Mr. Captain is hoping to raise £2500 to name a guide dog 'Ashton' as a tribute to the generosity of members and friends of Ashton-In-Makerfield Golf Club.

The main fundraising event will be a prize draw to be held on Thursday 26th May 2016 at approx 8.30pm. Prizes already donated include:

Fourballs at Ashton-in-Makerfield Golf Club, Haydock Park, Heaton Manor, Helsby, Huyton & Prescot and Leigh, 

Meal for two on 'Fish Friday'

£25 meal voucher for the Robin Hood, Orrell

Carvery for 4 at the Bucks Head

Meal for 2 at the Travellers Rest

In addition, there will be a 'Silent Auction' for Fourballs at Childwall Golf Club, Grange Park, Hesketh, Warrington, West Derby and West Lancs plus a Clay Pigeon Shoot for 2.  The Auction Sheet has been posted on the Notice Board in the bar area.

Any offers of further prizes e.g. wine, chocolates, gifts etc will be gratefully received and can be left behind the bar or in the Pro Shop.

Tickets cost £1 each and can be purchased from the Captain, Vice-Captain or Terry Hateley-Lowe.  The draw will take place on Thursday evening 26th May 2016.  All prize winners winners be posted in the club and on the website.  Prizes will be available from the Secretary's office.
